Meet founder, Bethany Carpenter

Having been a lifelong lover of vinegar, Bethany Carpenter founded Pomona Shrub Company at the end of 2021. She took her first shrub flavor, Lemon Lime, to several holiday markets around Wilmington and the Raleigh area. After seeing how loved this vintage mixer was, she expanded to a variety of different flavors and continued to share her shrubs with customers at Wilmington local markets and special events. Bethany later began collaborating with local eateries to provide customers with shrub cocktails and mocktails.
